Skype Group Video class returns!
Utilizing Skype’s group video calling feature, the workshop meets live Saturdays 1-3:30 pm CDT from July 8 to August 26. With Skype group video, you’ll be able to see and hear the instructor and your classmates, and the instructor and your classmates can see and hear you. *NEW* Superior Short Scripts ClassLearn how to write a short film script that really has an impact in this special two-Saturday seminar. Upon completion of the course, participants will have a short film script outline and all the tools they need to finish a superior short script. On the first Saturday, we’ll view several award-winning short films and discuss what elements they have in common. We’ll then look at short film structure. On the second Saturday, we’ll go through participants’ short film script structure and make sure you’ve created a short film story that has the maximum effectiveness. Then we’ll look at screenplay formatting and how to write scene description and action that flows on the page the same way you want it to unfold on the screen. Lastly, we’ll get our hands dirty and do an in-class writing exercise to reinforce what everyone has learned. See complete class description and registration info. |
